What we select
Developments are selected for relevance across safety science, reporting, evidence, technology, governance, communication, and professional practice. Selection considers the authority of the source, the clarity of its jurisdiction and status, and whether it offers a useful connection across disciplines or regions.
The Q4 2026 interim edition covers selected US, UK, EU/EEA, and Nigerian material. Nigeria’s July guidance is background context. This selection is not continuous worldwide regulatory surveillance.
What the labels mean
- Source fact: the original publisher’s statement, linked directly.
- PiVily commentary: an educational interpretation, not a new requirement.
- Watchpoint: a pending question or future event, not an achieved outcome.
- Link check: destination availability, not a judgment that guidance is current or applicable.
Dates and archived editions
Event/effective dates, official publication dates, PiVily source reviews, and publication updates are separate. Dates use America/New_York. Missing dates are identified rather than invented; month-only dates remain month-only.
Retrospective reports describe earlier periods and retain their review dates. The Q3 baseline covers material only through 11 August 2026. Material changes receive a dated correction or update note; cosmetic edits do not extend source coverage.
Responsibility and independence
Preparation and source checks may use software assistance. PiVily remains responsible for the published content. Direct official sources and their limitations remain available for readers to inspect.
